Intravaginal culture is not experimental: it has a decades‑long track record, thousands of babies born worldwide, and growing clinical data from Southeast Asia.
Intravaginal culture has been used and studied in multiple centres worldwide. Published data from large series show pregnancy and live birth rates in a similar range to conventional IVF for carefully selected patients, while using a very different laboratory footprint.
In Malaysia, a recent study found that fertilisation rates with IVC were comparable to conventional IVF, while blastulation rates were significantly higher. The majority of participating patients indicated they would recommend IVC to others.
